Milton Country Park – get close to nature.

Just back from taking 3 boys aged 4-14 to Milton Country Park. It has recently received a lot of funding and is spending much of it on attracting families with plenty of new wooden play structures, dens etc. There is also a cafe serving proper coffee and nice looking cakes for mum and dad with views of the lake. We were joined by thousands of dragonflies also enjoying a day out.

There are posters advertising a great looking event tomorrow – a Celebration of Summer which includes live music, jousting, story telling, den building, pond dipping and more. If you are around the Cambridge area tomorrow drop in. It’s only £ 2 to park the car but free to get in. Let’s hope the rain continues to stay away.
